Going, Going.... GONE!!!

So here we are, last night in Sydney before we leave early tmrw morning for Fiji, and to us this feels like the beginning of our adventure...
After a heart-ripping farewell from my family in Israel, and very long flights back to Sydney, we have had 6 days of crazyness, packing and organizing, loading well prepared boxes of stuff and supplies we're shipping over to fiji and then Rotuma, trying to get over a relatively easy Jetlag (up at 1am with a sleepless Saulei eating Spaggetti and Bananas!), and of course trying to catch a few last moments with our dearest friends and family here in Sydney. An AWSOME night out with my girlie girls, which ended in the dodgy "Ding Dong Dangs" Kareoki bar in Slurry Hills, and a very bad headache the next morning... A Yummy "Last Supper" at our dear friends Caspar and Emma, with Emmas SCRUMPTIOUS Passion Fruit and Coconut Pavlova (see pic attached), and a last game of Waterpolo with the Watsons Bay crew for Carl. Ah the sydney life is so good! Hard to leave, but many exciting moments ahead and we think we are ready for it!
Last tastes of Delicious Australian food, last mouthfulls of creamy yogurt and fresh delish Coffees, bites of crusty Sourdough breads and stinky cheeses, succulent lamb and mouth melting steaks, fresh salads picked straight from the garden and fine proscutto, thinly sliced... Did I mention Champagne, great Australian wines and beers???
Bye bye all of that and HELLO COCONUTS!!!! and UHT or powder milk, Taro Taro and more Taro, and Tapioca, and YUM fresh fish and fluffy white bread and no salads or champagne and thank Goddess I sent some Turkish Coffee over from Israel...
Goodbye Kg's overload from Israeli Bakeries, Hello body cleanse and Kg's drop in Rotuma...

We leave early in the morning and arrive in Fiji mid day-ish, will stay in Nandi for a night then head to Suva, where most of Carl's relatives live. We'll stay there for a couple of weeks, depending on when the boat leaves for Rotuma. apparently its not very clear when that is going to happen, as there have been disruptions in marine travel due to the recent Cyclone in fiji... So I am VERY happy for the waters to CHILL before embarking on that much anticipated boat ride!!! (am I managing to sound very positive????)

Noah knows we're going on the big "Elopane" again tmrw to go to "Rotumo", but Saulei has no idea and probably doesnt really care, as long as he can be close to his big brother "Moah" and copy everything he does...

Carls Family have been fabulous in their support and help, we are very lucky to have them, dunno how we could've done this without them!

So with our bundles attached, and Carl's Mammoth surfboard bag (you'd think that with the amount of boards he's taking he's planning on building a house, or something...?!?!?!), we head off to the airport, I will surely inhale my last couple of decent Coffee's at the airport, and yet another "Goodbye" session from Carl's folks, and away we go...

Am attaching a few pics of some moments here in Oz (am sparing you of video clips from Ding Dong Dangs...), and will probably update soon from the land of BULLA!!!
